Madison VA to hold Resource Fair for LGBTQ Veterans

June 24, 2019

June is PRIDE month and to commemorate this the William S. Middleton Memorial Veteran Affairs Hospital will hold a resource fair and roundtable at the hospital at 2500 Overlook Terrace Madison, WI in room B2055 for LGBTQ Veterans and Veterans with LGBTQ Children June 28th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This event will bring together community organizations from around Dane County to provide information for Veterans who identify as part of this community, Veteran parents of LGBTQ kids, and allies. 

The resource fair will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and will be followed by an expert panel on LGBTQ health, resources for LGBTQ Veterans, and Veterans with LGBTQ children from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Madison VA is a leader in healthcare equality and works diligently towards addressing healthcare issues Veterans may face who identify within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer community.
