William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital

Madison VA Quarterly Town Hall

November 27, 2019

MADISON, Wis.  — William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison will hold its next regular Quarterly Town Hall meeting for Veterans Thursday, Dec. 5th. The quarterly meetings provide an opportunity for Veterans, their families and others with a stake in Veterans’ health care issues to make comments and have their questions answered by hospital executives and staff.

Hospital Leadership will talk about the hospital’s third consecutive MAGNET recognition as well as progress on construction projects in the hospital.

The William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital attained Magnet recognition again in November 2019, a testament to its continued dedication to high-quality nursing practice. The American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet Recognition Program® distinguishes health care organizations that meet rigorous standards for nursing excellence. This credential is the highest national honor for professional nursing practice.

The Town Hall will begin at noon in the hospital auditorium and is expected to last an hour.

In addition to hospital executives, the hospital’s patient advocate team and other key clinical and administrative staff will be there to work one-on-one with any Veterans with issues they wish to have addressed on the spot.

Eligibility experts will be available to take questions and to assist Veterans in completing eligibility applications.  We are encouraging all Veterans to come and learn about what is happening at the VA and to take a second look at their potential eligibility for VA health benefits.
