Madison VA Hospital to hold Veterans Town Hall in Janesville

April 17, 2018

MADISON, Wis.  — William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison will hold its next regular Quarterly Town Hall meeting for Veterans Monday, May 14th. Town Hall meetings provide an opportunity for Veterans, their families and others with a stake in Veterans’ health care issues to make comments and have their questions answered by hospital executives and staff.

Hospital Leadership will discuss the hospital’s strategic priorities which include: Patient Experience, Outreach, the Inpatient Bed Plan, Preventing Veteran Suicide, Employee Engagement, and Whole Health Implementation.

The Town Hall will begin at 12:00 p.m. at Fire Station #1 in the Multi-Purpose room (easily accessible from the front door of the station) 303 Milton Avenue, Janesville. The event is expected to last about 90 minutes.

In addition to hospital executives, other key clinical and administrative staff will be there to work one-on-one with any Veterans with issues they wish to have addressed on the spot.

We are encouraging all Veterans to come and learn about what is happening at the VA. Experts will be available to assist Veterans who wish to enroll or have questions about VA health care benefits.
