Visiting Hours and Policies

Visiting hours are flexible and support family/significant other involvement.

Visiting hour may be limited by:
1.  Patient condition and need for rest.
     a.  Visits to Intensive Care Unit patients maybe
     limited to ten minutes each hour.
2.  Patient involvement in therapeutic activities.
     a.  Visits to patients on unit 2B maybe limited to:
          1)  Weekdays - 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm
          2)  Weekends, Holidays - Noon to 9:00 pm
3.  Presence of a patient roommate may require limitations based on the condition of the roommate, need for privacy, space limitations in the room, etc.
4.  The number of visitors at one time may be limited based on patient and roommate condition/needs as well as staff need for access/space.

Between the hours of 9:00 pm and 6:00 am, visitors are generally limited to immediate family/significant others.

Limitations are made at the discretion of the registered nurse (RN) based on patient, family and roommate needs.

Clergy

Members of the clergy are welcome to visit patients who are members of their particular religious group at any time at the discretion of the unit physicians or nurses.
