Welcome to the
Veteran Wellness Program
Recent research indicates that regular participation in any of a number of health practices may have profound effects on the mind and body. People report a decrease in mind and body symptoms, while reporting an increased capacity and appreciation for life. They report an increased ability to cope more effectively with pain and with stressful situations. In addition, these practices have been shown to enhance weight management, lower blood pressure and cortisol levels, enhance cardiovascular, respiratory, and immune system function, improve postural alignment, improve self awareness and attention, and promote a sense of well-being.
